Where do writers write? It's an interesting question, especially for the writing community. Most writers, like me, are still juggling a full-time regular job and the usual pressures of real life. Finding the time to crank out a few inspired pages is difficult enough without a good place to write. But if you're dedicated you will not only make time...you'll find a place. Great writers, after years of effort and a good deal of success, tend to have some amazing writer nooks of their own, but some of those same greats started with a laptop or a typewriter sitting on an ironing board that rested across a running washer and dryer in the laundry room. Here is a brief rundown of some of the greats and their writing places.
Mark Twain
Roald Dahl
Ray Bradbury
Agatha Christie
Arthur C. Clarke
Albert Einstein
Arthur Conan Doyle
Ernest Hemingway
Stephen King
Danielle Steel
